DESCRIPTION:Motorcycle bike and non-bike riders are welcome to participate in the third annual Hogs for Rescued Cats and Dogs on Saturday\, August 31 at Kutter Harley Davidson\, Pontiac Drive in Janesville.\n\n \n\nThis event is being sponsored by SCWHOG and Kutter Harley Davidson\; and is one of the best attended events of the year for the Friends of Noah-WI\, a Rock County based animal rescue group.\n\n \n\nEveryone is welcome to attend this free event\, which includes a silent auction\, raffles\, bake sale (with goodies from Rolling Pin Bakery)\, live music by Johnny Can't Stop\, a beer garden\, soft drinks and water.  Hours are 10 am   4:30 pm.\n\n \n\nRegistration for a Scenic Poker Run will be held from 10 am  12 pm for only $10.00.\n\n \n\nFriends of Noah-WI is an all-volunteer organization.  So\, all proceeds from this event will go directly to the care and wellbeing of animals from Rock County.\n\n \n\nBesides rescuing stray and abandoned animals\, Noah is also active in the community in efforts to keep animals in their homes.  Such programs include:  SAFE\, which teaches young people about the responsibility of owning a pet\, the CAF  program which helps hundreds of local families receive free pet food through 9 local pet food pantries\, and the Noah's Animal Fund\, which provides discounted veterinarian care for the pets of families facing difficult economic times.
